Jessica Simpson speaks out over fans’ concern from new video, reveals she’s been sober for 5 years

Jessica Simpson responded to fans’ concerns after the singer shared a Pottery Barn video ad that went viral last week.

On Sunday, Simpson took to her Instagram page to address her haters, adding that she has been sober for the past five years.

“As much as I’ve learned to block out the destructive noise … people’s opinions and judgments can still hurt so much,” she wrote, singing in her music studio. “The most important thing I’ve learned over the last 5 years of not being careful with my alcohol addiction is that I can and ALWAYS WILL.”

He continued: “I sympathize with the hatred that some people are so easily offended by on social media or in the media in general. We all want to be, look, do and feel our best. No one is alone in feeling that way I can promise you.’

JESSICA SIMPSON has spoken out after taking back “100% OWNERSHIP” of her BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS.

Last week, Simpson teamed up with Pottery Barn for her latest ad featuring herself. Birdie’s daughter room.

While there were people in her comment section who praised her child’s bedroom and her interior design, some fans were concerned about the singer’s well-being.

A rep for Simpson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

“Regards… she looks weak,” one user wrote, while another said she looked like she was slurring her words.

However, other users came to Simpson’s defense.

“It’s sad that all these comments are about her looks. It’s nobody’s business. I wish people would be kinder,” wrote a netizen.

In March, the “With You” singer opened up about her sobriety journey.

“When I stopped drinking, it was because I stopped hearing a voice that I really believed in, and I was lost without it,” Simpson told Entrepreneur at the time.
