PANTHER drummer Charlie Benante has shared an eight-minute compilation of clips from all seven shows of the reformed band’s December 2022 tour of Mexico and South America. Check it out below.
in the accompanying message YouTube video release, Benante wrote: “Here’s a look at some of the clips put together by techies, friends and family from our first tour. PANTHER. I was amazed by the reaction of the audience, there were times when I wanted to stop playing and enjoy the sea of passion. The fans at the bottom are different, they hang out, sometimes they even put their phones down.”
On December 13 Benante shared some photos of the drum kit he uses for PANTHER return shows. He posted the pictures on social media and he added the following message: “Drums post – a lot of people asked about the kit for this tour and here it is @officialtamadrums kit. Tom and floor tom gong drum. Star maple shells and kicks star bubinga – snares – my signature and star classic G-maple. Cymbals are @paistecymbals and as you can see a mix of Rudes and 2002. Sticks are my signature @vicfirth , heads @evansdrumheads, @rolandglobal supplied the td50x module with @porter_and_davies thumper triggers and that about sums it up.
